Showbiz Calling on Manohara

Manohara Odelia Pinot, who alleged that her Malaysian husband abused her, may have a bright future ahead as entertainment agencies expressed interest in banking on her current popularity.

Manohara caught the media’s attention after her mother Daisy Fajarina claimed that the teenager was abducted and abused by her husband, Tengku Temenggong Muhammad Fakhrya, a Malaysian prince. The case attracted even more attention after Manohara, with the help of Indonesian and US officials, managed to escape while visiting Singapore.

Since her return to Indonesia last week, Manohara has been daily media fodder. Her mother said that the Indonesian-American has received many offers from productions houses asking her to join show business.

“Yes there are some offers for the sinetron [Indonesian soap operas] as well as for movies,” Daisy told the Jakarta Globe. “But, Manohara has not decided on anything yet and furthermore, she said that she wants to continue her education,” Daisy said.

Daisy said that her daughter was interested in taking up business management and would enroll at a local university.

“Manohara said that she was going to balance her career and education,” her mother said. “And we are going to pick the best offer. We’re still thinking about it.”

Manohara is Daisy’s daughter from her short-lived marriage to American George Manz. The two separated and Daisy later remarried Frenchman Reiner Pinot Noack. At the age of two, Manohara moved to Europe.

“We took her to France, England and Switzerland after I married Reiner Pinot Noack,” Daisy said, adding that Manohara attended school until she completed junior high, but was homeschooled in France after that.

“Her biological father is in America and he has never contacted us,” she said. “He does not even know what is going on with Manohara.”

Daisy said that her daughter started modeling in 2006 after they moved back to Indonesia from France, adding that the divorce from Pinot and problems they had in France forced her to return to Indonesia.

Though we do not really know who took the videos and where it originates, we have the information that it was taken after the Indonesian earthquake in Padang, Riau. If you look patiently at the video, you will see a pair of eyes that is formed in the clouds overlooking a village in Indonesia. It will really shock and scare you!

However, apparently this video was taken a few years ago in Russia. Hence the source is unknown and the location too but it is a very real video, not a graphic picture.
