According to the United Nations, some 90 Hutu rebels have been killed in Eastern Congo in the past two weeks, as part of a joint operation between the Congolese Army and UN forces.

U.S. troops opened fire on a car in western Baghdad, killing an Iraqi journalist and her husband, a police official said Thursday. Morgue officials confirmed the deaths and said the bodies of Aseel al-Obeidi and her husband were riddled with bullets in Wednesday's shooting in the Tobchi neighborhood.

Moscow: Iran currently has no missiles capable of striking Europe and the U.S., Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday.
