What is new in the TV world, in technology? I think TV will change (dramatically). Over the years, the only changes have been in having color television – the first TV was playing in black & white - then we had changes in the designs. From the bulky Television sets to the Plasma TV and the LCD TV now we are told it will go further still and will jump into Nanotech television sets!

Nanotech TV is fantastic. Just power on a thumb drive sized module and it brightens up into a full size LCD TV right in front of you, in the thin air. You can see this in the series ‘Journeyman’ which is screened on TV8 in Malaysia. This would be another major leap in how we watch TV and how we see the TV sets in the future.

However, I am sure there will be more ideas and types of TV’s in the future. That is why I call this story here “The TV of Tomorrow”.

I think of a TV which is inside a contact lens or a pair of glasses. There already exist MP3 glasses but a TV one is still to be invented. I think a TV can be included in contact lenses, it is not a joke but many would say it is somewhat unrealistic.

Let us examine how it can be done:

Just put your glasses on and remotely (using remote console) start your TV set which you watch through your contact lens. The size of the screen can be focused to make it possible for the person to watch the show as it will not be too near to your eye to view the screen. How is that done? Simply by zooming it away from your eyes and it is all done within the contact lenses. This will be the technology of the future and you do not have to buy an expensive, bulky TV set that is fixed in one place for you to enjoy your show.

Currently if you want to watch your TV in your dining room and then later on watch TV in your bed room, you will need two TV sets. With the contact lens nanotech TV which I believe can be invented; you will be able to watch TV anywhere you go. This is real TV on the go.

Otherwise a whole TV set can be inserted in a pair of glasses that can be shared with anyone. It can be carried out of the house and it can also be used to record anything that can be downloaded in a nanotech computer for future usage.

This means a TV set can become a recorder, a player and an image capture devise. It can also capture satellite images for TV viewing and all this either in a contact lens or in a pair of glasses.

When you visit your neighbor or family members, just bring your pair of glasses with you and then you can watch your favorite TV channel anywhere you want.

This also means the microchip inserted in the contact lens (transparent micro chips dude) will allow all this to be possible.

To me, this is a vision of the future where bulky stuffs are gone and we are left with tiny pieces of technology that can revolution our world and change our lifestyle.

The future is to be fitted with smaller apparatus, objects which are smart enough to satisfy our viewing needs not with bulky technologies that eat our space and make it impossible for the object to be moved around with ease. No one would want to spend big bucks on a technology that is not easily accessible and transportable, that is why mobile phones are so popular. They can be brought anywhere, can capture video, can also transmit videos and can even play radio or TV. They are the future of nanotech – for those who does not know what is nanotech please know that it is an explanation of how big objects can be turned into really tiny objects but it will keep the same functions as the big objects.

How expensive? It will not be that expensive and believe me in the near future nanotech equipment will cost even lesser to produce since technology is far advanced now and it will allow us to produce smaller objects and use less energies and resources from the dying planet Earth. Nanotech TV will be a life saving device for the global world because it will contribute in saving planet Earth from being exploited of its resources.

Imagine a nanotech TV would need some plasma technology or LCD tech with transparencies and will so small that it can be inserted (the chips indeed) in a pair of glasses or contact lens! This means less resources used.

This will probably also help the world’s economy to stop falling – don’t you see that it is falling – and to ensure that oil prices also may go down. TV sets, my father says, may be using components made of petroleum which is costly but also is obtained from the same oil we use in our cars and so on.

Nanotech TV’s will be less dangerous to the environment though I think the technology must be perfected to make it more friendly to the Humankind.

Humankind is facing a dangerous future but with a little imagination we can probably change the course of things by being creative and inventive. Let’s build the first nanotech contact lens computer, television sets and even video games!

Eyes in Sky - This video will really scare you

Watch Video Here

Though we do not really know who took the videos and where it originates, we have the information that it was taken after the Indonesian earthquake in Padang, Riau. If you look patiently at the video, you will see a pair of eyes that is formed in the clouds overlooking a village in Indonesia. It will really shock and scare you!

However, apparently this video was taken a few years ago in Russia. Hence the source is unknown and the location too but it is a very real video, not a graphic picture.
