Restaurant number one: JM Beryani

This is about three restaurants. Two restaurants in Ampang one in Kuala .Lumpur [Malaysia]. This is my first try at 'restaurant critic' since I have the chance to lunch or dine at several restaurants in Malaysia.

At Tesco Ampang: We have the JM Beryani restaurant. The food there is so good, should I say delicious and tasty. My father brought me there twice and that was great opportunity to decide on their food quality. They come first in my list and you won't regret visiting it. I love the food there! I hope I can go there again!

JM Beryani is owned by a Malay couple. Their pictures can be seen at the Restaurant.

Now restaurant no:2

Restaurant S.A. I DONT LIKE THIS RESTAURANT SO MUCH now because the service there is to be desired, certainly nowadays. Once my mom asked the waiter to bungkus [pack] some food and the waiter did not understand what does bungkus meant. Ya I know they do not speak Malay but when told in English, he was more than confused! English pun 'takbleh'!

I cant believe it and I was laughing when the waiter could not understand what my mom was saying. This restaurant is located in Ampang. It used to be a hot spot. For some people it may still be but not for me! The more so, the place is dirty, the tables unclean and they do not even bother to upkeep it.

And restaurant no:3

K.F.C Ampang Park near City Square. This restaurant is not that bad but lately, it is going down the drain, like they say.

Me and my father ordered a zinger burger there but they said wait soon they will send the burger. We have been waited for a damn HALF an Hour for the burger. When queried again, the person said wait with a cheeky smile on the face. Obviously he was new and the whole place was buzzing with new workers – and obviously they were Malaysians – but they were as blur as the days of the 'haze' in Kuala Lumpur. I wonder.

My father got disappointed! I made him go to KFC though I know he prefer local restaurants and in my heart I was wondering why a fast food restaurant would degenerate so low as to serve food that late?
