MH370: Malaysia dismiss claims by Chinese group
The previously unheard-of group sent a PDF statement to various journalists in China on March 9, saying, “You kill one of our clan, we kill 100 of you as pay back.” The PDF statement was also sent via the encrypted Hush-mail anonymous re-mailer service which cannot be replied to or easily traced.

WSJ reports unknown group claims on MH370
The WSJ article said the following:
On Sunday afternoon, a statement issued in the name of a previously unknown group claimed that the disappearance of the plane was a political act aimed at the Chinese and Malaysian governments and referred to It stopped short of a claim of responsibility. Malaysian officials said that they were unaware of any claim of responsibility but would investigate all possibilities.

MH370: Malaysia investigates terror link
Malaysia suspects four imposters were on the flight. Following this development, Malaysian authorities have acknowledged that they are not discounting a more sinister reason for the disappearance of the Boeing 777-200 plane, FZ.com said.

By setting a numerical target for the U.S. naval presence in the Pacific, Washington is issuing a thinly veiled warning to Beijing over China’s aggressive maritime activities in the East China and South China seas.

AEC to strengthen Asean region
With all these issues at play, it is hard to perceive that the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement will not lend bigger problems to the member countries of the US controlled trade-investment pact. The AEC represents a market of 600 million people, and it goes beyond the region thanks to several ASEAN+ initiatives that opens the markets of China, the EU and the US or Russia and Australia to the ASEAN member states.
Under the AEC, countries like Malaysia and Vietnam will stand to benefit even more than what they are bargaining from the TPP.
